(Oroville, CA) – The Department of Water Resources yesterday halted releases out of Lake Oroville via the spillway. In Yuba-Sutter, that means locally you’ll notice water levels in the Feather River beginning to drop. Releases through the Hyatt Powerplant are now back to the 4,000 cubic feet per second range, with the inflow this morning in the 9,000 cfs range.

The lake level is currently just over 844 feet, 55-1/2 feet from the top, and at 77% of capacity.
