(BUTTE COUNTY) – An 18-year-old from Oroville is picked up by
officers culminating an investigation into a number of vehicle
thefts in the area.

Officials say William Kevil was the operator of a social media
account that contained videos of car heists in the area. Using the social media account, Officials were able to obtain an  arrest warrant for Kevil.

When officials served Kevil with the warrant at his residence, they also find a stolen gun. Kevil is then booked into the Butte County Jail on burglary.
