(BUTTE COUNTY) – An Oroville man gets six years in prison for arson in Palermo during the state of emergency brought on by the Thompson Fire.

Butte County prosecutors say…39-year-old, Joseph Gilbert intentionally lit a field on fire near a Palermo mobile home park along Lincoln Boulevard, back in July.

The Lincoln Fire consumed around a tenth of an acre of brush before CAL FIRE crews put it out. There was video of the whole thing.
