(Oroville, CA) – CHP Oroville reports the arrest of Brian Davis, Tuesday afternoon at around 3:20, when officers responded to a report of a pickup down an embankment on Garden Drive just west of HWY 70.

The investigation determined Davis ran the stop-sign at the end of the off-ramp and simply drove off the roadway into a tree, sustaining moderate injuries. Officers determined Davis was under the influence of drugs. They also report a vehicle inspection revealed that the driver’s seat was not actually mounted to the cab “which contributed to Davis’s injuries.
