(Oroville, CA) – The Oroville Police Department reports an Oroville man was killed early Saturday evening as he was driving a Chevy pickup “at a high rate of speed” north on 5th Avenue, running a stop-sign at Montgomery Street, colliding with an eastbound Ford pickup.

33-year-old Ryan Morrison was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver and passenger in the Ford were taken to the hospital with moderate injuries, according to Action News.

Alcohol and/or drugs have not been ruled out as a factor.
