(Glenn County, CA) – An Olivehurst woman has been booked into the Glenn County Jail, on charges including felony driving under the influence causing injury, gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated and custody/care-assault of a child under eight.
According to Tri-County News, 24-year-old Savannah Dees was driving in unincorporated Glenn County early Saturday evening when she drove across the road and collided with a utility pole, causing her vehicle to overturn several times. A 5-year-old child in the vehicle was killed, and two other children, ages 1 and 2, were injured. However, Dees suffered no injuries herself.
Bail for Dees has been set at $690,000.
