(Butte County, CA) – The Butte County Sheriff’s office reports the arrest of an Olivehurst man in Oroville.

Deputies were dispatched last Saturday morning at around 6:00 to a home on Lower Honcut Road after the homeowner called 911 and reported seeing a man on her security cameras, attempting to open a door and get into her residence. Deputies approached the man, later identified as 37-year-old Christopher Nasarro of Olivehurst. According to a BCSO release, “As the deputy attempted to make contact with Nasarro, he dropped a pipe, commonly used to smoke methamphetamine, and ran off. After a short foot pursuit, Nasarro was safely taken into custody.”

Deputies also located a bag containing a firearm, face covering, gloves, meth and fentanyl.
