(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – In Yuba County Court, 37-year-old Uriel Solorio Lopez has been sentenced to 53 years to life, after a jury found him guilty of molesting two children.

The investigation began in November of 2022 when one of the victims confided in an aunt. The victim later told investigators the molestation had been going on for 3 years, beginning at the age of 10.

The second victim came forward following news of Lopez’s arrest, who then felt more secure coming forward with Lopez being in custody, as he had reportedly threatened the victim with physical harm if the victim told anyone.

That was also a 3 year period of molestation, beginning when the victim was 12.
