(Gridley, CA) – One person is reported dead following an officer-involved shooting in Gridley, late yesterday afternoon. The Butte County D.A. tells Action News the person who died is “not a law enforcement official.”

The incident happened in the area of Magnolia & Kentucky Streets and Magnolia was closed from Kentucky to Ohio streets.

No officers were injured. And no additional information has been received as of this morning.
