(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – There are currently dozens of road closures throughout the KUBA listening area, in Sutter, Yuba, Colusa, Butte & Glenn Counties. However, it appears – according to reports from individual counties – the primary highways, 99, 20, I-5, 70 and 65 are unaffected, with the exception of HWY 70, closed in the Sierra from Jarbo Gap to the Greenville Wye due to a large chunk of mountain (easily the size of a big-rig) falling onto the road.
Notable closures include all the roads through the Sutter Bypass, several stretches of Pleasant Grove road, from Cornelius Avenue to the Sacramento County line. In Butte County, Central House Road from HWY 70 to Palermo-Honcut Highway, and in Glenn County the Salt Creek Bridge on County Road 306.
