(Sacramento, CA) — Northern California’s reservoirs continue to fill up after a historically wet winter. Lake Shasta is at 73-percent of its capacity after being at 49-percent in January.
Lake Oroville is now at 83-percent of its capacity, up nearly 30-percent from January.
And, Folsom Lake is filled to 64-percent capacity after being at 47-percent in January.
There have been recent scheduled water releases at several of the reservoirs to prevent flooding. This comes after a winter that saw more than a dozen atmospheric rivers hit Northern California.
