(Sacramento, CA) — California healthcare workers will be seeing a bump in their paycheck, but they’ll have to wait a bit longer. Governor Gavin Newsom signed the one-month delay to California’s new 25-dollars hourly minimum wage for health care workers on Friday.
Under the new law, the pay increase will take effect July 1st instead of June 1st as originally planned. The change aligns with the state government’s budget year.
