(YUBA CITY) – After getting complaints from local businesses, nearly 50 trees have been scheduled for removal along Plumas Street in Yuba City due to inadequate spacing.

Officials say they have outgrown their intended spaces, and fallen
limbs are posing a danger to the surrounding buildings.

After several discussions on how best to manage the issue, both the
Downtown Business Association and the city agreed to remove some trees from the street.
