(Glenn County, CA) – The Glenn County Sheriff’s Public Information Officer reports that a missing Marysville man was found dead Tuesday morning in the Tehama-Colusa canal, between County Roads 25 and 28.

21-year-old Christian Malone was reported missing by his family a week ago today. He was last seen alive near Orland off I-5 near exit 618. Prior to finding Malone dead, search & rescue crews had located his backpack containing personal belongings near the intersection of County Road F & County Road 25, near exit 614.

An autopsy is being conducted to determine Malone’s cause of death.
