(NorCal, CA) – Cal Fire has announced a total of $142-million, 600k in grants statewide to “restore the health and resilience of existing and recently burned forests.”

That includes $7-million for Yuba County and $8-million, 500k to Butte County.

The grants include post-fire restoration, reforestation and regeneration in the burn scars of 11 of California’s most catastrophic wildfires over the last decade. That includes the North Complex, CZU Lightning Complex and Dixie Fires.
