(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – In spite of an Excessive Heat Warning going on two weeks now, the Yuba County Sheriff’s Public Information officer reports the efforts of the Marijuana Enforcement Team of Yuba County, during those two weeks, served 15 search warrants in the Brownsville & Rackerby areas. Their efforts yielded 25,000 marijuana plants, over 3,000 pounds of processed marijuana, and one firearm.
There was also a total of 59 environmental violations, 64 water code violations and the seizure of 8 illegal and banned pesticides.
According to a release, “The most recent search warrant executed this past Tuesday, July 9, 2024, led to the arrest of 65-year-old Ty Chun of Stockton, and 72-year-old Samorn Min and 75-year-old Thon Teav, both of Woodland. All subjects were booked at the Yuba County Jail.”
