(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – The Sutter County Sheriff;s Office Corrections Unit reports mail containing meth has been intercepted at the jail.

On the Monday night shift, human deputies noticed “a few envelopes that looked suspicious” according to a Facebook post from the Sutter County Sheriff’s office. When K9 Bailey arrived for her shift Tuesday morning, she alerted to the envelopes having the presence of narcotics.

Further investigation and testing confirmed the envelopes tested positive for meth.
