(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – A press release from the Marysville School District’s Public Information Officer reports the district has been awarded a $13.5-million grant from the State Board of Education’s $750-million Community Schools Public Partnership Fund. The money will be used “to develop wellness activities and programs.”
Of the district’s 23 schools, 10 were accepted by the state for funding, including Lindhurst & South Lindhurst High Schools, Johnson Park, Cedar Lane, Ella, Linda, Yuba Gardens, McKenny, Kynoch and Yuba Feather. The money will be used “to improve the lives of students, staff and families through coordination of services & resources.”
