(Sacramento, CA) — A man is in jail after allegedly making threats about shooting up the State Capitol. The California Highway Patrol says the credible threats were made on Thursday. Lawmakers evacuated the State Capitol Thursday and continued their legislative session in another building.
CHP says there was no active shooter yesterday.
Authorities say the man is connected to the Wednesday shootings in Citrus Heights and Roseville.
No injuries were reported in both shootings. He is facing attempted homicide, assault with a firearm, and other charges.
