(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – A recent major agreement between the U.S. and India is expected to greatly benefit local walnut growers. Long-standing trade issues have been resolved, most notably, India removing its 20% retaliatory tariffs on California walnuts, along with numerous other U.S. exports.

It had been a move long sought, not only by U.S. producers, but also, retailers and consumers in India.
