(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – The Sutter County Sheriff’s office reports that they, along with the City of Live Oak employees “addressed a transient camp” in the area of HWY 99 & Archer Avenue, successfully cleaning it up, in partnership with the Homeless Engagement and Resolution Team (“HEART”).
According to a release, the partnership will “address the community’s concerns twice a month from here on out.” They add, the HEART team “will work with the unhoused persons in the City of Live Oak to help them find permanent housing.”
