(Sacramento, CA) — A judge is temporarily stopping a new transgender policy from happening at a Southern California school board. Attorney General Rob Bonta says he was able to secure a temporary restraining order Wednesday against Chino Valley’s transgender school district policy.

This comes as school boards across the state, including Rocklin in Sacramento County, are considering policies that tell parents when their child is asking to be identified as a gender that’s different than the one on their birth certificate.
