(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – The no-cost agreements signed by Yuba City & Marysville officials over the last couple of years to provide expanded fiber-optic internet services will be detailed at a Town Hall meeting, scheduled for 5:30, this evening, at the Sutter Youth Organization building, 7740 Butte House Road in Sutter. It will be hosted by Race Communications, and they’re referring to it as a “Gigafy Sutter Town Hall.”
A marketing manager with the company tells The Appeal-Democrat they’re holding the Town Hall “in an effort to explain services and encourage members of the community to speak with the Race Communications staff.”
They are also reported to have a ‘Recruiting event” tomorrow, with Sutter County One Stop, to fill “several jobs” at their new Yuba City warehouse.
