(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – HWY 70 from Jarbo Gap to the Greenville Wye through the Feather River Canyon has again reopened, partially, for the first time in over two months. It has been closed intermittently due to rock slides.
The one-lane stretch is currently controlled by automated mobile traffic signals and is open 24 hours a day.
For the last several years, that section of HWY 70 has frequently been shut down due to rock slides.
