(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – In the ongoing saga of the Hotel Marysville following a devastating fire last month, a court hearing has been scheduled for tomorrow. It will consider the city’s filing for a warrant granting crews access to begin demolition.
A statement released yesterday says the judge will hear arguments from the city, as well as an attorney representing the owners of the building, who are challenging the city’s application for the warrant “in accordance with the city’s public nuisance abatement ordinance.”
Additionally, the city yesterday officially announced they’ll be taking bids “for the Hotel Marysville Emergency Abatement & Demolition Project” until 4:00 tomorrow afternoon.
