(Nevada County, CA) — Evacuation orders and warnings are in place as a wildfire burns in Nevada County. The Sheriff’s Department says the Highway Fire started Wednesday near Washington Road and Highway 20.

Tahoe National Forest says the fire is 25 acres in size and is five-percent contained.
