(Yuba-Sutter, CA)– With schools starting back this month across Yuba-Sutter, Yuba County Health & Human Services is taking appointments for children to get vaccinated with a free Wednesday-only clinic.

The Appeal-Democrat reports the Tdap vaccine is being offered for children, between the ages of 7 and 18. Tdap protects against infectious diseases such as diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis.

COVID and flu vaccines are also available, according to Yuba County officials.

The free vaccines are available Wednesdays from 1:00 until 4:00, and an appointment can be made by calling: 530-749-6755.
