(Fairfield, CA) — A former pastor in Fairfield is behind bars on suspicion of murdering an eight-year-old girl in Pennsylvania in 1975. Eighty-three-year-old David Zandstra allegedly admitted to killing the girl when he was interviewed by detectives in Georgia.

Police say Zandstra abducted the girl as she was walking to bible camp, then took her to a secluded area and murdered her. He was a pastor at Fairfield Christian Reformed Church between 1990 and 2005.
