(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – A day after announcing his intent to run for a Yuba County Supervisor seat, former two term Marysville Mayor and current school board member, 73-year-old Frank Crawford was arrested for driving over the curb and onto the lawn of the Marysville Police Department, late last Friday morning.
An officer tells The Appeal-Democrat they recognized Crawford’s vehicle from previous “(several) interactions.” Crawford was reportedly “screaming and yelling wanting to pay traffioc tickets.”
A field sobriety test was attempted, however Crawford was reportedly uncooperative, calling officers “pigs.” He was cuffed and transported to the hospital after attempting to flee on foot.
The paper also reports Crawford made threats of violence toward officers, “My son is on his f******way…we are going to f****** kill you.”
