(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – Congratulations are in order for local 7th graders who earned spots to attend the annual Tech Trek Science Camp at UC-Davis.

A release from the Marysville-Yuba City branch of the American Association of University Women says the students earned their spots based upon recommendations from their science and math teachers, and only 100 total are accepted at the camp, state-wide each year.

Our local Tech Trekkers this year are: Violeta Gentry-Morales from the Yuba Environmental Science Academy, Olivia Marquez at Twin Rivers Charter Academy, Turan Welcome from AeroSTEM Academy, Ravneet Pabla at Riverbend Elementary and Mia Magallon from Butte Vista School.
