(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – The Department of Water Resources has announced the recipients of their Sustainable Ground Water Management Grant Program, totaling $187-million, and awarded to 103 separate projects state-wide.

That included $4.3-million to Yuba County for groundwater recharge efforts and $8-1/2-million to Sutter County for a pilot program to assist farmers with irrigation upgrades, improvements to ground water flow and improve ground water data monitoring.
