(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – The Sutter County Sheriff’s office is providing additional details about the capture last Thursday of Live Oak Ring Camera suspect, 29-year-old Javier Arteaga-Tinoco.
Tinoco was wanted after a Ring Camera at a residence of N Street early last Monday evening, reportedly captured him armed with a handgun. He is seen walking up to the door and placing a threatening note on the porch.
An anonymous tipster identified him to sheriff’s detectives and a search warrant was served at his Live Oak residence on Hampton Road, last Wednesday. However, he was not there at that time.
The next day, the sheriff’s office again received an anonymous tip saying that he was there, at which time the Sutter County Special Enforcement Detail Team was activated. The residence was surrounded, and Tinoco surrendered without further incident.
