(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – The Yuba County D.A. has issued informing that both a recent murder case and an assault with a firearm case, are being delayed, at the request of defense attorneys.

The arraignment of 26-year-old Roy Kirk Jr. of Clear Lake Oaks, charged with shooting into the air in the parking lot of Lakeside Indian Cuisine last Thursday night, is continued to April 26th. He was originally scheduled for last Friday. He continues to be held on half-a-million-dollars bail.

Additionally, 39-year-old Ricky Lasher of Yuba City, arrested last week on suspicion of the murder of Amery Sweany last year, remains in custody on $1-million-dollars bail. His arraignment was continued from last Friday, to this afternoon at 3:00.
