(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – With a $5-million lawsuit filed against the owners of the Hotel Marysville, to either shore up or demolish the fire-damaged building, the Marysville City Council has taken the additional step of directing the City Manager to begin securing financing and contracts to get enough work done on the structure, so that E Street can fully reopen again.
The estimated cost for the minimum amount necessary for that to happen is $800,000 according to a press release, with a goal of January to have it accomplished. The City Manager is quoted in the release saying “the city & hotel property owner interests remain in communication with a view to resolving their differences.”
