(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – A beloved 78-year-old father and husband was the victim of a fatal hit & run in May, and the search for the responsible party continues. The victim’s daughter, Sherrie Mullinix tells The Appeal-Democrat the family is holding a candlelight vigil tonight, in hopes that “the person responsible..(would) turn themselves in…” .

Lance Antrobus was killed in May after being struck by what authorities have determined, was a “white Chevy Mailbu from 2016 or newer” along Forty Mile Road. His body was discovered in bushes along that route the morning of May 13th.

The family searched the area that night when Antrobus failed to return home, and reported seeing a woman “in a long blue dress to her ankles” in the area where the body was found. Mullinex told the paper “We feel like she knows something and I’d like her to come forward.”

The candlelight vigil takes place this evening at 8 p.m. at the VFW Hall, 4956 Powerline Road in Olivehurst. Anyone with information regarding the accident isencouraged to call 530-645-6200.
