(San Francisco, CA) — Money is being allocated to 22 cities across California for homelessness. Governor Gavin Newsom announced Wednesday a total of nearly 200-million-dollars will be used for homeless outreach efforts, such as encampment removal projects.
The funding will also help 73-hundred homeless people get housing. The communities include the city and county of San Francisco, which is getting six-point-five million dollars in funding for homelessness.
