(Yuba-Sutter, CA) — Holiday travelers are on alert for a super soaker across California. Mother Nature could make the roads especially dangerous this week.

The southern part of the state is bracing for the most rain since a tropical storm in August, while the northern area is expected to be the wettest since March. In fact, two to five inches of rain is possible between San Francisco and Santa Barbara through Saturday, with storms returning on Christmas Day.
