(Yuba County, CA) – A new wildfire in the KUBA listening area, the Double Fire in Yuba County, sparked just after 1:00 yesterday afternoon. As of 9:00 last night, Cal Fire reports it is 50% contained at 13 acres, with no reported injuries or structures threatened, damaged or destroyed.
The Yuba County Office of Emergency Services issued an evacuation update last evening at 7:00, that Zone YUB-E007 has been split into three zones: The center, 007A remaining under an evacuation order, however, the northern & southern portions, 007B and C, reduced to evacuation warnings.
The previous evacuation order for Zone E081-B is now a warning and the previous warnings in 081-A & C have been lifted.
