(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – Another major grant from the Yuba Water Agency, $12,960, will enable an estimated 270 fourth graders, specifically from Wheatland & Plumas Lake Districts. The money will allow those students to participate in the South Yuba River Citizens League’s annual fall-run Salmon Expedition Tours.

That, combined with a $400,000 grant earlier this year means around 1,400 Yuba County fourth graders will be able to participate in the day-long rafting adventure over the next three years at no cost.
