(Colusa, CA) – Slough House Social in Colusa’s last day in business will be this Sunday, the 19th, according to a social media post at the beginning of the month. The post reported they were being “taken down by the State of California…and the decisions made by employees.”
Robert Summa, in an investigative piece in The Appeal-Democrat reached out to the State Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control and Bryce Avalos, their communications analyst, told the paper that an investigation “found that three employees served alcohol to an obviously intoxicated patron and his 17-year-old stepson. The 17-year-old jumped from the stepfather’s vehicle after they left the business, and later died. The stepfather was arrested for DUI.”
