(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – Adventist Health/Rideout Hospital in Marysville is continuing to expand its services, with the announcement this week that it has acquired Geriatric Emergency Department Accreditation from the American College of Emergency Physicians.

The Appeal-Democrat reports that Adventist/Rideout is now recognized for “providing the necessary expertise, equipment and staff to deliver excellent care to older members of the community.”

In addition, earlier this month, the Marysville facility reported it had also earned recognition at the national level for stroke care in our area.

The hospital has also gained recognition, being named in the Stroke Elite Honor Roll and the Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll.
