(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – The Sutter County Sheriff’s office reports a counterfeiting & identity theft arrest in Yuba City. 45-year-old Carissa Vantassel was arrested at Queens Avenue and Princess Street, on suspicion of making unauthorized paper money and possessing personal identifying information with intent to defraud.

Additionally, the Yuba County Sheriff’s office reports the arrest of 40-year-old Calvin Tsui in Wheatland, on suspicion of forgery and possessing a fictitious check.
