(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – The City of Yuba City has issued an encroachment permit to PG&E for natural gas pipeline upgrades along Garden Highway, between Franklin & Percy Avenues, according to a release. It goes on to report that initial work “starts soon” with major excavation work beginning next month. Completion is “anticipated in late 2025.”

The release notes that residents and commuters can expect parking restrictions & lane shifts, controlled gas releases. However, the most significant work will be scheduled overnight to reduce traffic disruptions.
