(Northern California) — A three-point-six magnitude earthquake struck Northern California Saturday morning, shaking the Sacramento area. The U.S. Geological Survey says the quake hit near Walker, about 100 miles east of Sacramento and 37 miles southeast of South Lake Tahoe at 8:30 a.m.
Residents in Sacramento, South Lake Tahoe, Tuolumne County, Pollock Pines, and areas near the California-Nevada border reported feeling the quake.
