(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – The Yuba County Sheriff’s office has released the identity of the man killed Tuesday night in an officer-involved shooting: 22-year-old Donn Moore of Browns Valley.

The deputies directly involved are on administrative leave until the Yuba-Sutter Officer-Involved Shooting & Critical Investigation Team completes their investigation.

ABC 10 reports: “Around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday night, a deputy tried conducting a traffic stop on a truck along Marysville Road near Shadowbrook Trail in Browns Valley, according to a news release from the Yuba County Sheriff’s Office. The driver, Moore, allegedly failed to stop and led deputies on a half-hour chase.

The truck reportedly became disabled and stopped near the 2600 block of Highway 20, north of Marysville.

Police said just before 11 p.m., Moore allegedly fired shots from his truck. Multiple deputies then fired back during a gunfight, the sheriff’s office said.

Moore was pronounced dead at the scene.”

Harold Kruger in a Facebook past on ‘530 Life’ also notes:
‘Donn Moore had two minor criminal traffic cases pending in Yuba County Superior Court at the time of this week’s shootout.”
