(Oaradise Police Department release) — DATE: September 22, 2024
At approximately 2:20 AM, Paradise Police Dispatch received a 911 call reporting subjects were shooting guns, and someone had been shot near the intersection of Pentz Road and Drayer Drive.

The names of the involved have been withheld as this is an active investigation.

Paradise police responded and found several people present, to include one victim who had been shot. The victim was assessed by officers and medical personnel and found to be deceased.

The shooter is in custody and the scene has been rendered safe. California, Department of Justice, Crime Scene Investigators are actively processing the scene.
