(Sacramento, CA) — Two teenagers have been arrested for making threats of a shooting at Sacramento County schools on social media. A 14-year-old girl from C.K. McClatchy High School was arrested for posting threats targeting the school. A 15-year-old boy was arrested in connection with threats against schools in the Galt Joint Union High School District.
The threats were considered not credible.
They are part of a nationwide social media trend targeting schools across the U.S. and several schools in the Sacramento region in the last week.
