(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – Healthcare providers in Sutter County are teaming up for a Town Hall meeting to “gauge challenges residents face in the health care landscape and how officials can better address them,” according to The Appeal-Democrat. The meeting is the result of a collaborative effort by the Sutter County Health and Human Services, the Yuba Sutter Healthcare Council Foundation and Sutter Health.
The idea behind the Town Hall is to provide a voice for Yuba-Sutter residents, addressing health care needs and thereby, “helping providers direct their patients through the proper channels to receive better care” according to the paper. Organizers also plan to address specific obstacles regarding health care, including “transportation, access to speciality care, education and understanding…insurance coverage.”
The Town Hall is scheduled for September 30th, from 5:30 until 7:00 at the Adventist Health/Rideout Conference center at 989 Plumas Street in Yuba City. You can register online at: forms.office.com/g/nzMyrgX5BH?origin=lprLink.
