(Sutter County Probation Department release) — After receiving information of two individuals on probation possibly being in possession of firearms, residing in the Feather River bottoms, with ties to both Yuba and Sutter County, our officers coordinated a special detail on August 1, 2024.

With the assistance of the Yuba County Sheriff’s Office Problem-Oriented Policing (POP) Team, the Yuba City Police Department, and the Sutter County Sheriff’s Office, probation searches were conducted, resulting in two arrests and several weapons being taken off the street.
