(Colusa, CA) – The Colusa Mosquito Abatement District’s vote-by-mail ballot measure for an additional $11.80 assessment on single family homes, to continue to fund accurate testing for mosquitoes born diseases and improve mosquito population control efforts, has passed.

The District Manager tells The Colusa Sun-Herald that although there was only “close to a 30% ballot return rate,” a vast majority, 82.26%, voted in favor.
